VKG · Vid Kit Gen does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or media.

All video and audio you open in this extension is processed entirely on your own device, inside your browser, using WebAssembly (FFmpeg.wasm). Your files are never uploaded to any server, and we have no ability to see or access them.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, or telemetry. This extension requests no browser permissions and no host permissions.

Your media

Videos and audio you select stay on your device. Output files (trimmed or compressed video, extracted audio) exist only in your browser session until you save them, and are discarded when you close the extension.

Network & third parties

The extension makes no network calls with your content. The FFmpeg engine is bundled with the extension and loaded locally — no remote code and no content delivery network. Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared or sold.

The extension requires no sign-in or account.
